Herbert E. Kaufman completed his MD in 1956 from Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently working as Emeritus Professor at LSU Eye Center. He has eight patents and has received several awards and honors. He has published over 800 articles/books, 1951 - 2016.</p>
