Biography

Dr. Tuoen Liu received his M.D. degree (2003) from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University in China and Ph.D. degree (2011) in Pharmacology from Idaho State University in the U.S. After that, Dr. Liu completed his postdoctoral training in Hematology and Oncology at Washington University in Saint Louis in the U.S. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in the U.S. His research focuses on genetics, hematology and oncology, especially heat shock proteins and myeloid malignancies. Dr. Liu teaches pharmacology and cancer biology courses to medical students.</p>
