Dr. Fabbri graduated at Ferrara University (Italy) in 2012 with research on the laparoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) and became General Surgeon in 2019 with a research on Intraoperative radiotherapy (IOERT).His main researches are focused on general and thoracic surgery. Notably, he published literature reviews on gastrointestinal tumors, an overview of breast cancer and a pilot study on perianal fistula. He manages a website on medicine "www.surgicalitaly.com" based on researches from his Department. In 2017 he won the “Barioni Prize” by the Order of Physicians of Ferrara with research on new therapy of perianal fistulas, published in 2019. In 2018 he attended the National Cancer Center of Aviano (Italy) for training on breast surgery. He was also graduated in echography (at the Italian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine) and Trauma management (by the American College of Surgeon). In 2019 he started Biostatistics at the University of Padua (Italy). He worked at General Surgery Unit of Delta Hospital (Lagosanto, Italy) and in the Department of Emergency Surgery at University Hospital of Ferrara (Italy) in 2019. He currently work at General Surgery Unit of Azienda USL of Ferrara direct by Prof C. Feo.
