Joel Hanhart is a retina specialist trained in Switzerland (Lausanne, medical school), Israel (Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem), France (Fondation Rothschild, Paris) and the United Kingdom (Moorfields Eye Hospital, London). Dr. Hanhart is the director of the vascular retina service and leads the posterior segment research unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. He serves several editorial positions and is a reviewer for numerous scientific journals.</p>
