Biography:

My research focused on the application of molecular technology and well-extended genetic knowledge to unravel the pathogenesis and molecular mechanism of human genetic-related diseases. I have strong background and experiences in elucidating the molecular mechanisms and pathogenesis of human genetic disease: autosomal dominant Polycystic Disease (ADPKD) and Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Disease (ARPKD).

I am best known for my research on generation and characterization a new animal model for ADPKD and the application of translational medicine to treat ADPKD based on this disease model. In addition, I am also known on the functional analysis and characterization the casual gene of ARPKD.
