Dr. Pradeep Chaluvally-Raghavan received his Ph.D in 2006 from the University of Calicut, India where his studies were focusing on the roleNF-kB activation and pro-inflammatory cytokine genes in melanoma models. Soon after his Ph.D, Pradeep started working in a Biotechnology company in India, later he moved to The Weizmann Institute of Sciences for his postdoctoral research, where he was studying the role EGFR family members in breast cancer. Later he joined in the Department of Systems Biology at The MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2010, since then Pradeep is focusing on the role of genetic aberrations in the coding and non-coding genes in Women’s Cancer.

During his research in the Department of Systems Biology, Pradeep has received several recognitions including, the Ann Schreiber Investigator Award from Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in 2013, Young Investigator Award from AAISCR in 2013, Scientific Scholar Award from Marsha Rivkin Foundation in 2014, and Liz-Tilberiz Career Development Award from Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in 2015. During his training, Pradeep also received several awards from American Association of Cancer Research. Pradeep published several papers including Cancer Cell, Oncogene and Cell Reports. Major aims of his current research focusing to unravel the oncogenic roles of genetic aberrations including microRNAs, EGFR family members, Notch receptors and their downstream targets in Women’s cancer.
